I can't believe I was up so early!
Oh, the joys of a puppy. It's like having a toddler at times. Our nights are interupted often with 2 o'clock potties and sometimes are mornings start early. Most times she will go back to sleep for a couple of hours, but not this morning! She was very frisky and wanted to play. So I sat down with er and played tug of war, threw the ball a number of times, and then tug of war some more.
It also gave me some quite time to read my Bible lesson for tomorrow. I have so enjoyed these lessons. It's a testament to the women in the Bible, of their strength and devotions. The women of the Old Testament lived in a very oppressive culture. They often felt trapped. As I read about these women I am learning how some of these women maintained their dignity and feelings of value. Some of these women had self confidence and were leaders. Women who preserved and thrived AGAINST ALL ODDS!
Today, us women, continue to jump through similar hoops. There are women still who are in our lives that treat us wrongly, believe they are better then us, try to torment us. Right now, I am living proof. One women is trying to destroy a family that is stronger in our Faith then she ever gave us credit for. Our Faith does not need to be affirmed by her, but by God. Through Him, with Him and by His will, we will rise above all the pettiness. AGAINST ALL ODDS, I will survive by surrendering it to God.
1 Peter 3:17
It is better, if it is God's will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
