Day Out With Thomas
The kids were really happy they meet the conductors and even got to make announcements for him and wear his hat.
After the ride there was plenty of activities for the kids to play. The big slide, golf land, and bounce balls were their favorites.
Auntie Ber was so nice to stand in line while they played until it was time for their picture with Sir…what ever his name was. Our littlest, Peanut, thought the world of him and was just so darn cute. I think she had him wrapped around his big finger.
It was time to say good-bye to Thomas and thank him for a wonderful time.
As you can see…we all had a great time!
A Day Out With The Grand’s
For weeks, well at least since NASCAR, the kids have done nothing but talk about this day, and it was finally here.
It was starting off with a St. Patty’s Day Parade in Phoenix. We went to it last year, since our fireman son is in it, but plans were interrupted and we didn’t see the grand’s till after. This year was going to be so much better!
With a 3 hour drive ahead we left at 5:30 so to be there for staging. It didn’t matter how early it was, she was so excited to see her cousins.
For a kids, I think this is the best part. They get handed things that are to be passed out during the parade. They get to talk to some and gaze at all things soon to parade down the street soon.
Finally the parade begins…
And finally the man we all have been waiting for…
The many faces of happy children….
No matter where we are BUBBLES seem to be a part of it…
Some silly ways to kick back and enjoy the parade…
These two just danced the day away…
Time to pack up and head with a little help from some Grand’s.
It was a great parade with some Grand’s…Now off for part two of this grand day!
