Our 33rd Anniversary. How time flies when you having fun!
Every year our anniversary falls around Midnight at the Oasis.
First is the parade…one by one they drove by us for 2 hours.
Hubby wanted to take me out to dinner afterwards but I was not feeling up to it so we went to Dave’s Famous Bar-B-Que, got some ribs to go, and came home.
The next day was to go to the show itself. He really wanted me to take my chair but I refused. No one in town has ever seen me in my chair and I wasn’t ready for that today. With cane in hand we headed out and met up with our daughter, her hubby, and his aunt and uncle. Before we even got in the gate, we were told Tucker couldn’t go in… No Dogs Allowed!
There were a few cars in the parking lot for sale that grabbed our attention.
Finally we made our way in. With over 1000 cars I knew I wouldn’t see them all but we tried our best. Here are just a few more of our favorites.
I am so looking forward to when our 65 Falcon Convertible is finished. It will look something like the redone above.
I love all those old cars. They knew how to build them for sure. And you could distinguish what model they were; not like today. Alot of cars look too much the same. I loved the warning sign one vehicle. Happy 33rd Anniversary! We are there as well! Hugs and happy day!
