FOR TODAY

Outside my window...Blue skies, a slight breeze, puppy playing mischiefly and the horse, mule and steers galloping in their pasture.

I am thinking...of my son and how we can help him through this stage of his life...of my daughter who si housesitting this weekend for us...of our other son and how excited he is for starting a family.

I am thankful for...the weekend we just spent with all the 'Grands'.

From the kitchen...came the smells of fajita's cooking. Family gathered around the island for conversations with the cook, nibbling on chips.

I am wearing...sweat pants

I am remembering...the memories my kids recieved from their grandparents.

I am creating...our own memories with our 'Grands'.

I am going...to spend the afternoon with 2 of the 'Grands' after school.

I am reading...my One Year Bible for Women that my daughter gave me for Christmas every morning.

I am hoping...for God to lift the burdens of family members and guide them in His way.

I am hearing...lots of birds chirping in the trees.

Noticing that...Bella is getting so big!

Pondering these words...(Matthew 7:1-2) "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."  There is only one who may judge us in our doings and it is not for me to judge others actions, even when they hurt us.

From the Learning Rooms...this is our last week of Bible Study-Against All Odds. I enjoy the time with other women learning how the women in the Old Testament maintained their dignity and feelings of value, who had self-confidence, were leaders, exerted influences, and preserved and thrived AGAINST ALL ODDS. So can I!

Around the house...there are still remnant of the wonderful weekend we just had.

One of my favorite things...is of course spending as much time as possible with my 'Grands'.

A few plans for the rest of the week:Bible study on Wednesday along with a 'Grands' afternoon, doctor's on Thursday and hopefully some shopping after, pack for a weekend away.

Here is a picture for thought I am sharing...

I would rather have my feet buried in the sand with my 'Grands', then my head!

  1. This is such a neat idea for a post and very creative. Thank you so much for your comment on my blog post. We make lots of painting memories (and messes)! And both seem to stick around for awhile, if you know what I mean!
