Being creative....

I came across a blog and found she had done the same thing we did. Making cake plate stands from other's cast aways. I wanted to share our cake plates that we made for our daughters wedding, then used for a recent fundraiser, and plan to use and make others for birthdays and other events.

They were so simple to make, yet are so elegent.

Since the boot cakes were on the big size, the lady that borrowed them for the event got creative on how to use them. Thinking...next time...would like to try using a larger square platter so that sheet cakes could also be displayed as well. It's amazing what you can find at a second hand shop.
